2026 - 2027 with Nelson Tasman Riding Club
October Club Day - Sunday 11th at Rough Island Equestrian Park
Everything Show Hunter
Do you want to feel confident and give show hunter a go?
Join our local show hunter expert judge and course builder Pauline Webby to learn all things showhunter!
The day will start unmounted with pearls of wisdom on what SH strives to do, how to ride the perfect course, and how to set the horse and rider up to succeed.
We will set up and build a simple course together, walk and understand the design for horse and rider so you know what to practice at home and how to approach show day.
Learn what a course builder is asking for and what a judge is looking for. Then saddle up and have a go riding your course
Jumps will start low and go up depending on rider request. Get instant feedback on your round and some things to practice at home.
