12 July Club Day - Pass Wide and Slow at Mapua
We had a great turnout of 12 riders supporting this worldwide campaign to raise awareness for vulnerable road users. Divided into two groups we departed at 12.30pm for a loop around the Mapua roads, finishing with a walk along the beach. Thanks to our local officers from NZ Police for providing an escort and photographs of the ride. Special thanks also to the wonderful Mapua community for the lovely drivers and the welcoming community.
Because of the global time zones, we were the first ride for 2026 for this year's campaign.

16 July - AGM and Evening with Brett the Vet
Our AGM was held on 16 July and was followed by an informative talk by Brett the Vet.

The talk focused on ulcers in horses, it was a great opportunity to look at the research, vet findings, and discussion around symptoms, prevention, and treatment.
